The 5 Star family story. . .
5 Star Flowmaster Plumbing, LLC is a family-owned and operated company in Kaufman Texas. Established in January 2011 by Michael and Misti Julian, who then joined into a partnership with their long time friends Joe & Shelly Lawson in November 2011. This has made the 5 Star family complete and we couldn't be happier to be in business together!

Now, a little about us...
Michael "Mike" Julian - Co-Owner/Master Plumber, Med-gas endorsed
Mike started in the plumbing business right out of high school and during his early years in the plumbing industry found that he had a natural knack for it. So, to make it official he obtained his Journeyman license in May of 2000. After years of working for other companies doing all types of plumbing work, he decided he was ready to take it the next level and obtained his Master license in 2003. He worked for himself for many years and then decided that he needed to expand his knowledge base and learn something new in the field. For the next three years he worked for large commercial companies who's main focus was new construction and service. In early 2011 he and his wife decided it was time to branch out on their own and and thus started 5 Star Flowmaster Plumbing, LLC.
Misti Julian - Co-Owner/Business Manager
Misti has been in the business management field for 17 years, the last 13 have been with AT&T. Working in management at a large corporation has helped her gain knowledge in the important aspects of running a smooth operation. She has recently obtained an Associate's degree in Business Management and is already certified in this field. Misti is highly organized and very professional. She ensures that our business runs smoothly and effeciently so that we can pass the savings on to our customers!
Mike & Misti have been happily married since 2004 and are the proud parents of 3 great kids. They have resided in Kaufman for more than 25 years and love the country lifestyle.
Joe Lawson – Co-Owner/Lead Foreman, Journeyman Plumber
Joe started his career in the plumbing business immediately after high school and obtained his Journeyman license in April 2001. He has 16 years of residential, commercial, new construction and service experience. Joe has been recognized for his exceptional customer service and extensive knowledge of the plumbing field. He specializes in commercial and residential service work.
Shelly Lawson – Co-Owner/Accounting Manager
Shelly has worked in the mortgage business since 1998. She started her career as a credit analyst with Centex Home Equity and worked her way to the top as a mortgage underwriter within 5 years. To shorten her commute, she accepted a position as the office manager for a small local company in 2003, and was responsible for all of the company’s daily functions. In 2005, she went back into the mortgage business and is now a mortgage underwriter for HRM Mortgage. Shelly has vast knowledge in accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. She is very organized and dependable and is responsible for all of the financial aspects of the company.
Joe & Shelly have been happily married since April 2000 and have a wonderful daughter together. They have resided in Kaufman for more than 30 years and love small town living.
