The 5 Star family story. . .
5 Star Flowmaster Plumbing, LLC is a family-owned and operated company in Kaufman Texas. Established in January 2011 by Michael and Misti Julian, who then joined into a partnership with their long time friends Joe & Shelly Lawson in November 2011. In March of 2020, Joe Lawson took on full ownership of the business.

Now, a little about us...
Joe Lawson – Owner/Responsible Master Plumber
Joe started his career in the plumbing business immediately after high school and obtained his Journeyman license in April 2001. In August of 2020. Joe achieved his Master's Plumbing License. He has 23 years of residential, commercial, new construction and service experience. Joe has been recognized for his exceptional customer service and extensive knowledge of the plumbing field. He specializes in commercial and residential service work. Joe is our Responsible Master Plumber ensuring our technicians are at the top of their game and taking great care of our customers!
Shelly Lawson – Operations Manager
Shelly has worked in the mortgage business since 1998. She started her career as a credit analyst and worked her way to the top as a mortgage underwriter within 5 years and now is a Mortgage Underwriting Supervisor outside of 5 Star . Shelly has vast knowledge in accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. She is very organized and dependable and is responsible for all of the financial aspects of the company.
Joe & Shelly have been happily married since April 2000 and have two wonderful daughters together. They have resided in Kaufman for more than 30 years and love small town living.
